There
are, of course, many more main courses than listed here,
so I'll list a few at a time, so you can try them out and let me
know how you like them!
Puerto
Rico, like any country,
has its regional culinary differences, due to the availability of
livestock or seafood.
Thus,
you can now surf and turf with the best of them, since conch, red
snapper, shrimp are all staples of the coastal islander's fare...
And
although fowl, pork and beef were traditionally the only meats used
by the country folk living in the interior parts of the island,
here you'll get a sampling of all of these regions, and their
influences...
So
stop your grinning and pull out your linens, and get ready for a
"banquete"...
